A Touch of Elf Magic: Creating Felt Christmas Tree Ornaments

As elves at the North Pole, we love to get creative and make our own decorations for Santa's workshop and our own homes. One of our favorite crafts to make during the holiday season is felt Christmas tree ornaments. They're easy to make, fun for all ages, and add a touch of homemade charm to your Christmas tree.

​Here's our step-by-step guide for making your own felt Christmas tree ornaments, as well as some tips and tricks from the elves at the North Pole.

Materials Needed:

• Green and red felt sheets
• Scissors
• White glue or a hot glue gun
• Twine or ribbon
• Embellishments such as sequins, beads, and pom poms (optional)

Instructions:

1. First, gather your materials. You'll need green and red felt sheets, scissors, white glue or a hot glue gun, twine or ribbon, and any embellishments you'd like to add.
2. Cut out several triangle shapes from the green felt to make the Christmas tree shapes. You can use a template or freehand the triangles, depending on your crafting experience.
3. Cut out small circles or other shapes from the red felt to make the ornaments. You can also use cookie cutters or other shapes to make different ornament shapes.
4. Once you have your tree shapes and ornaments cut out, it's time to start decorating! Use white glue or a hot glue gun to attach the red felt ornaments to the green felt tree shapes.
5. If desired, add other embellishments such as sequins, beads, or pom poms to the ornaments to add some sparkle.
6. Once the glue has dried, use a piece of twine or ribbon to make a loop to hang the ornament.
7. Repeat steps 2-6 to make multiple ornaments.
